Guild Charter

Thank you for expressing your interest in our guild.

Na Îkaika is always looking for high quality players to add to our family. We are a guild that is focused towards progression through means suited to a guild of our size. We are team players that play on a regular basis. We are loyal to our guild and keep a positive attitude, as we fulfill our roles to the best of our abilities.

Becoming a Member:

• After you have gone through our application process, you will shortly be tagged <Na Îkaika> and be ranked as an "Initiate". An "Initiate" is our lowest active rank. It is the first step towards becoming a member. As an "Initiate", you are limited to all of what we have to offer you. It is our goal to help you feel comfortable with us, pending on how devoted we think you are towards us. While being an "Initiate, you are not allowed to have any "Alternates" in Na Îkaika. You will have access to our guild bank, but will be limited to 2 withdraws per day from our "Initiate" tab. As an "Initiate", you will not be able to view, deposit or withdraw from any other guild bank tabs. You are required to register on site using your "ingame" character's name as your username. You must remain active on our forums as you are in "World of Warcraft". Again, as an "Initiate" you will be limited to only the general and Initiate area on the forums. While being an "Initiate", you will be evaluated and reviewed. This process may take up to 2 weeks. Your evaluation is based upon how well you fit in with our existing members, how well you present yourself to others, how well you play your role, and how active you are "ingame" as well as on site. After your review, your permanent status will be determained by the members of Na Îkaika.

Member Structure:

• Members of Na Îkaika are split up into two categories:

  • Knight: Knights are our entry level towards membership. They are our social members of our guild. Recruitment of Knights isn't restricted by class, level, or talents. Knights are given more access towards what we have to offer, both in game as well as on site. As a Knight, you are allowed to have one "Alternate" in guild. Any other alternates you wish to be affiliated with Na Îkaika must be placed in our sister guild. Knights will have the opportunity to become a "Centurion".

Knight-Champion: Knight-Champions make up our raid force. Recruitment of Knight-Champions is limited to the classes we are actively in need of. It is required to be level 80 in order to be a Knight-Champion. It is also required to respect your character's talents to what is currently in need. Your character must be somewhat decently geared, supporting your specifications. Knight-Champions also must retain an active raid status, with a minimum attendance of 25% of all schedule raids. If for at any given time where you may not be able to meet this requirement, you will be moved to the ranking of a "Knight". Knight-Champions will also be categorized pending on a first come basis and be limited to approximately 50 active raiders.

Guild Leadership:

• Guild Leadership is created within a Council framework and is divided into two categories: Guild Council and Guild Officers.

• The Guild Council is the backbone to Na Îkaika and is headed by the Grand Marshal. The Grand Marshal focuses his attention towards the guilds direction, progression and growth. He shares his ideas and decisions with with the Guild Council, but will have the power to overcome any disputes, decisions and/or votes. If for any circumstance, the Grand Marshal wishes to step down from his position, he will appoint up to three nominees. The members of Na Îkaika will then determine the outcome of who will be the apprentice. The apprentice will be trained accordingly, before the demotion of the Grand Marshal.

• The Guild Council also consists of Field Marshals & Knight-Wardens. Field Marshals are appointed by the Grand Marshal and are divided upon seperate duties and recognition as follows:

  • Sénéchal: He is the right hand of the Grand Marshal and the overseer of all officers. All major decisions will be carried forward to the Sénéchal and he will decide if it shall be brought up to the Grand Marshal. If for any circumstance that the Grand Marshal is unavailable or on a leave of absence, the Sénéchal will be given the power to overcome any disputes, decisions and/or votes. Sénéchal is limited to one active position.

Staff Sergeant: He is there to assist all officers of thier duties. This includes keeping the guild organized, focusing upon guild progression and advancement. He determines where we should focus our attention with time, money and power when it comes to guild needs for raids and equipment.

Marshal of War: He is the war leader of Na Îkaika. Responsible for working out the details of raids designed to acquire gear improvements for Na Îkaika, this includes calling for outside assistance if needed. It is his decision to determain what is needed in our raid force, both class and talents. While during an event of a raid, he has power of removing any "Centurion" from the raid if he feels he is unfit of his duties.

Knight-Wardens are appointed by the Grand Marshal and is in charge of all relations towards all members of Na Îkaika. His focus is to keep the guild as a whole, making sure everyone is progressing and reaching thier goals. He is also in charge of recruitment, guiding all new members to the way of Na Îkaika. He has every given power to promote, demote, as well as disband any member at his will, pending on probable cause.

• The Guild Officers of Na Îkaika are split up into two catergories:

  • Knight-Lieutenant: Appointed by the members of Na Ikaika. He is the Assistant to the Field Marshal. His duties consists of monitoring all transactions pertaining to the guild bank, making sure everyone is progressing and reaching their goals. He also assists on recruiting new initiates and leads them accordingly. Knight-Lieutenants must also have an adequate amount of knowledge on "World of Warcraft". Recruitment of Knight-Lieutenants retains it's limitations pending on the current population of all active members.

Knight-Herald: Knight-Heralds are the veterans of Na Îkaika. They have been an active member(both Knight or Knight-Champion) with Na Îkaika for over year and have achieved the highest level available in World of Warcraft. Legionnaires share the benifits of both "Knights" and "CKnight-Champions". They are not obligated to raid but more then welcomed to attend at thier will. Knight-Heralds are also recognized as officers and have special priviledges such as access to officers chat and forums.

• Na Îkaika strives on keeping everything organized. We have rules, policies, and guidlines we follow, so that we may keep all things in order. If for any circumstance we find a flaw in our ways, we bring the issue(s) to the Guild Council, in which will be determained on what the solution will be. All amendments to the Guild Charter, Guild Policy, and Code of Conduct, will be subject to a vote by the Guild Council, then carried forth to the acting Grand Marshal.

Guild History

Na Îkaika was created and founded April 2nd of 2008. It consisted of a group of 4 founding members, Akeelis, Kiddrift, Williama, and Mokunui. We are all friends in real that have been previously playing another game called Everquest. As the years went by, we've decided to take our adventures to World of Warcraft. Because we perfer PVP, we've decided to make Kalecgos our home. Upon intensive studying and researching of WoW, we've decided to take that same drive, passion, and dedication we had in EQ and created Na Îkaika.
